The welcome is super warm, the owner took a few minutes to discuss and put us at ease despite a full restaurant. The atmosphere and decor are pretty simplistic. On the other hand, the service was a little clumsy, without insurance and our entries were forgotten. The 3 tartars we ordered were too salty. Otherwise everything was delicious and well prepared.

A very good experience with impeccable service!A very funny and very polite waiter (Yannick) who was very helpful and always smiling. The dishes (mussels fries and duck breast) were very good (although this is not the mussel season).The value for money is not questionable and the room is very nice, quiet and very cozy.The menu is varied and very appetizing.Parking is relatively large and close to the restaurant.Also, a fireplace is available on the terrace early in the evening.We come out very satisfied!

Our family of six went here a year after our first visit, during our annual voyage to the area. The first time we went we were very impressed with everything: service, the crepes, setting; all fantastic. This time was a little unexpected because of the change in menu. But, the food was still excellent, in spite of the change in menu. The only problem was the service. The gentleman serving us was very curt, and appeared to be in a bad mood. Everyone has an off day, but it was a shame, considering how good the other aspects of the experience were.

To have been there more than once, this restaurant deserves a 5 star first for the quality of the food for the excellent service, and also for the courtesy of the owner. I highly recommend it, it's worth the trip.

Unfortunately I chose to take the pole bowl home with beef Tartar ... Very very very disappointed. Rice not at all pleasant to eat. Pear cane. Vinegar poorly dosed. A bill too high for a disappointing dinner.

Even he has "call bistro" actually the menu is from a real restaurant ... it was wonderful on all the line ...

Excellent table and very good reception.We were visiting Malbaie and we were not disappointed!Tuna is a treat.They have, in addition, the beers of the micro-brewery Charlevoix and in particular the one I love: the Flacatoune.

2nd time I come to this restaurant, it's excellent every time. The service is very good.

Charming place with nice ambience. We didn’t have a reservation and the place was full. However, as we were leaving the owner caught up to us and found us a table that had just opened up. Tried the soupe l’oignon française, saumon escalope and filet de porc rôti. The portions are a bit on the smaller side which was perfect for what we wanted. The quality of food and service is excellent, 100% would recommend.

Beautiful restaurant. Clean and with a courteous staff. We were 5 and the service was very good. By cons it lacks a bit of background music. All the dishes were good except the mussels, it lacks flavor.I will still go back;)Have a good meal

One thing to say: Go eat there! We had very good food, the meal was delicious from A to Z, plus they are local products so it's the best of the best! The pancakes are just to die for! The staff is very pleasant, friendly and always concerned about the well-being of its customers!

Just eaten here, pasta was fine, salmon was delicious, fries unfortunately too salty (tip: leave salt out and let the guest decide for themselves if they would like salt), mussels somewhat tasteless. But that may be because we are used to fantastic mussels in the Netherlands 😉. Great dessert, tasty Brazilian coffee. Very kindly helped by a neat English-speaking lady.

My boyfriend and I had dinner here on the recommendation of a local were glad we did! We made a reservation, so we had a nice table near the window. We enjoyed their condensed menu (varied items, I'd say a blend of French and bistro food) and found the prices fair, given the quality of the food. We found their drink menu adequate. Our waitress was excellent and attentive to my boyfriend's allergies (nuts, shellfish, coconut, plus more). We enjoyed our experience, we'd come back here without hesitation!

We had the pokebowl salmon tartare, very good, as well as the original flamekueche (quite unexpected in this part of the world we must recognize!). A good address for a dinner a little higher, with adequate prices.We went back the next night and it was very good again :)

Warm and welcoming decor. The food is excellent and the plates have very good portion. There are also excellent beers from the Microbrasserie du Charlevoix.
